Eli's Big Sister Room

This quilt was made by Grandmama and Elizabeth Grace. The squares represent each month of the year and they have Eli's handprints on each. How special is that?!?!

I should've posted this right after I posted pics of Caleb's nursery, but my time on the computer is few and far between these days.
Whenever we were getting ready to do Caleb's nursery, we decided to re-do Eli's room as well. She begged for big girl bunk beds and I found these on The Land of Nod website. Fortunately, I have an extremely talented husband, father-in-law, and mother-in-law who took the picture and information from the website and built them for us. I am so blessed to have these wonderful people in my life! The beds will always be special because Eli's Daddy, Grandpa, and Grandmama built them especially for her! We all love Eli's new "big girl" room and she has been so excited about the bunk beds. She said that we have to invite her class over so they can see the bed that Grandpa made for her!

Caleb's Nursery

Here are a few pics of baby Caleb's nursery. I love the elephant print fabric and I'm so pleased with how everything turned out. Eli had so much fun helping too!

Caleb Jonathon has arrived

2 weeks ago our beautiful baby boy made his grand debut into the world. I went into labor Friday morning, November 6th and Caleb was born at 4 that afternoon. He has already stolen his Mommy's heart.
The entire time I was pregnant I couldn't understand how in the world I would be able to love another child more than I already loved Elizabeth Grace. It is truly amazing how my heart just expanded and I have so much love for this baby boy. He is sweet as pie and such a good baby. (I hope I'm not jinxing myself...haha!)
Here are a few pics of our sweet addition.
We are now a family of four...we are complete.

Happy Halloween!

Ariel posing with her 9 month preggo mommy! Only 2 weeks until the due date!

Grammy came to visit for Halloween.

She did not want to wear her wig to school so we chose a beautiful tiara from her dress up trunk.

Our silly jack-o-lantern!

Happy Halloween everyone! Eli is super excited about Halloween and getting lots of yummy candy. She finally decided to make her mommy happy and be one of the Disney princesses for Halloween. The past 2 years she's chosen superheroes (Wonder Woman and the pink Power Ranger). We thought she looked adorable in the red wig, but our hot-natured baby girl couldn't take it for long. We're going to trick-or-treat tonight with some of our good friends and family. I'll have to post more Halloween pics later.

Clemson Football - Go Tigers!!!

We love this time of year...mainly because it's time for football!
We headed to see our Tigers play for their first 2 home games. Since I am majorly preggo we have decided to stay home for the rest of the season and watch them on TV. We got really lucky and were able to sell our tickets...yay!!
Eli LOVES Clemson football...I'm bringing her up right! HA HA!
Her favorite parts are watching the Tigers run down the Hill, eating dippin' dots ice cream, and hanging out with her friend Mati Cox!
At the Middle Tennessee game she and Mati anxiously awaited the balloons to be released, because according to Eli that meant that "our boys" would be running down the Hill soon!
We hope our Tigers will have a good season and we'll be cheering for them from our sofa for the rest of the season!
GO TIGERS!!!

Tball 2009

I know how pathetic it is to be posting this so many months after Tball, but oh well. I'll blame my inability to post on a consistent basis on my pregnancy and raging hormones. It seems I am quite forgetful these days and just cannot get everything accomplished!
Anyway...
Eli had another great year of playing Tball for our favorite team, Juice.
She was 1 of 2 girls on the team and didn't mind at all. She got right in the middle with the boys and played her little heart out! She had so much fun!
(Thanks for the group pic Meredith!)

First day of 4K!

We went back to school today! Elizabeth Grace is very excited about starting 4k. This will be her first year going 5 days a week and she really thinks she is big stuff! Her teacher is Miss Denise. Last year her teacher was Miss Amber who is just across the hallway from her new room. She said after school today that she misses Amber, but she is very close to her classroom so she can still see her! I thought that was so sweet.
As you can see I was able to snap a few shots of Miss Eli before leaving the house and she wanted to take one of me...majorly preggo! So here I am...28 weeks and counting.
We cannot wait to start learning all sorts of new things during 4k!
